Nicole Marriner - freelance food photographer and food stylist in Salt Lake City.

HI, I’M NICOLE

A food photographer, stylist and content creator based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I work with restaurants, chefs, and food brands to create food photography and visual content rooted in real culinary experience. My focus is on producing honest, intentional images that feel natural to the food and true to the people behind it.

Before photography, I spent years working in the food and hospitality industry—teaching cooking classes, developing recipes, and working in restaurants. That hands-on experience gave me a grounded understanding of how food behaves, how it’s prepared, and how it should look on camera. It shows up in how I approach food styling, whether I’m working on restaurant menus, brand campaigns, or editorial projects.

A lot of my work lives between food, storytelling, and small businesses. I’m especially drawn to collaborating with chefs, local restaurants, and food brands who care about craft and want to create something thoughtful together.
